FYI on party drinking supplies

We have base spirits of: Run, Vodka, Tequilla, and Whiskey. We'll have the usual collection of mixers: pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice, sweet & sour mixers, etc We'll have a small selection of schnapps/flavorings. Probably not enough to do Lady's Aura drinks but who knows. Definitely enough to make Margaritas. I'm quite certain that The Mistress of All Things Margarita will KILL me if I can't make at least one for her :-)

Probably will see if we can get lucent_alchemy to whip up some of his famous White Sangria as well.

If there is something that you are looking for in particular, let me know. I I won't guarantee anything but I'll at least consider it :-)

Yeah, this isn't nearly as big scale as we normally do things. Just an excuse for friends to drop by and have a lovely beverage and say "hi".

V while I greatly appreciate your consideration, I was actually hoping the party was going to be on Fri. ;P They never get started properly 'til later anyway, and that would make one nice big night of stuff instead of two half-nights. Anyhoo, I'm going do one or the other, but not both. I'm just not going to fight traffic and crowds and pay exorbitant parking two night in a row. Call me lazy, call me cheap; I can assure you I am very much of both. ;)

Although it may not even be down to one or the other in the end, because Dave is sick as a dog, which means I will be too by tomorrow or Friday latest. And I don't take my germs places if I can help it.

Gin is the least favorite of all the spirits at most of my gatherings. Therefore it tends to get overlooked. I've also discovered that its takes really good gin to be worth serving. something that I dont' really have at the moment. I might have something worth mixing but nothing that I would trust in say a proper Gin Martini.

There will be scotch of course. I just usually don't advertise it. Those that like it usually ask for it. Those that don't, usually are happy with the other offerings :-)
