partytrick's wedding went off without a hitch. WEll, except for the biker festival that was going on right outside the doors. But I digress.

I managed to survive the wearing of the kilt and didn't even look too bad in it. Lotion on the knees helped a lot.

I discovered that I do have allergies now. Ever since that mold issue in my basement, I'm much more sensitive than I used to be *sigh*

I'm currently finishing up the last day of the Harvard Biomedical High Performance Computing Leadership Conference in Boston (at Harvard of course). Met a lot of great folks. Made a lot of new contacts and firmly cemented in my mind that I need to finish that verdammit PhD so that I can go off and do what I need to do. *sigh*

I am currently slated to be staying with

st_darwin for Tuesday and Wednesday night and making my way to Natick, MA sometime on Thursday so that I can make it to the rehearsal dinner.

I'm going to try and make it to see

unixronin but I'm not sure if that is going to be possible at this moment. We'll see.

But I'm alive and kicking and that beats the hell out of the alternative :-)
