The condition of zorathenne's kitten Garcia took a turn for the worse today. In the end, it was about quality of life and we decided to have him euthanized. It was a tough as hell decision but was really the only option.

The last seven days have been hell.

There is always alittle consolation in this thought. I don't know where you got Garcia from, but in the end you and Mel gave him a very nice home for his remaining stay. He was cared for, and loved, and he got a chance to know that love. Sometimes animals pick their moments that way. Garcia might have known that at last he could rest, and be taken care of.
