Research on interfaces that span multiple computing devices

My name is Heather Hutchings and I am a PhD student at Georgia Tech studying Human Computer Interaction. My advisor, Jeff Pierce, and I are researching how users may wish to employ interfaces that can span multiple computing devices. Over the next several weeks, we are conducting a study with people in the Atlanta area who travel regularly for their jobs and use mobile devices, preferably cellular phones with thumb keypads. The study involves using paper prototypes of computer interfaces to show how you would like to complete tasks with the interfaces in different situations. The tasks are fairly common things like sending email or using a calendar. The study will be conducted in the Technology Square Research Building at Georgia Tech or in your place of business if that is more convenient for you. It should take approximately one hour. There is no compensation for the study other than providing insight into the design of software tools.

e-mail woes

So apparently my vernard@venger.net email address is "over quota". This is interesting because as far as i can tell, I don't have quotas on that machine. E-mail accoutns are one of the features I get for being hosted by Comtrends which is owned and managed by a friend of mine, rhjatl. I'm not quite sure what is going on but this is very very annoying. I had issues earlier trying to setup a mailing list on the server (it just flat out wouldn't work despite having done one before that is working).

I was hoping to be able to keep my web site hosting for my venger.net domain the same as my email system but I can't deal with stuff not working.


Can anybody tell me of a decent imap based mail service (free or otherwise) that they can recoommend? I need something that will let me have imap folders with a quota of at least 1GB and up to 3GB. I don't mind paying as long as it gives me what I need. And before you say it, I already have a GMail account. Its POP only so it doesn't mea my needs.
