Live on the Internet

So as of about 6pm, I now have Internet connectivity again through a Comcast cable modem. Now I just need to find my router and such so that I can setup my local LAN and get the rest of my comptuers online. I think we counted 12 of them when we were moving.

Damn that is a lot of computers.

how many of the 12 are part of a linux cluster?

Only 4 of them are part of a true cluster. I run CentoS4 using GFS over a fake SAN via nbd. Works like a charm. I'll probably upgrade to Centos 5 since the GFS support is built in versus having to compile it yourself from the sources.

of the 8 machines that are left, 1 is going to a friend of mine dragonzord05 and 3 of them are game machines. The rest are linux desktops or stand alone servers.

oh yeah, I forgot the laptops. Although only one of them works. I need to get the motheboard replaced in the other one. Will probably give the existing working one to either my niece or my sister.

And I didn't count one of the desktop computers because it doesn't have a working cpu in it. All the rest are bootable.
