DragonCon: The Aftermath

Survive DragonCon without getting ConCrud. Yay me.

“Bad V” managed to get into more trouble than even I could imagine. I think I’ll leave him out for the rest of the month before I put him back in his cage :-) jaguarraven and muffle1969, you two need to watch out!

Managed to still pull off a moderately interesting party this year with the aid of the usual cast (i.e. lucent_alchemy, firewalker138, zorathenne and LJ-less Ben).

reprobayt for keeping an eye on my health so I didn’t fall into a diabetic coma while I was in The Zone.

The margarita_fri and partyatvernards communities> After tallying, we managed to cover the entire cost of the alcohol, mixers plus be able to give a modest donation to the hostess for allowing us to invade her domicile for 5 racuous hours. I asked you to support your local party and you all did heartily and graciously.

YOU are the reason I enjoy serving drinks.

I didn’t do a rollcall this year but i’ll definitely make a post over in partyatvernards to get one started.

I didn’t get to margarita_fri on Friday night to my shame. I’m planning on making a foray out to the Original Margarita Friday soon so that I can atone for this sin.

Just so folks will know, I have no idea what will happen for next year partywise. I have been invited to attend Burning Man which is during the same weekend as DragonCon. We’ll just have to wait and see.

In the meantime, I think dr_nebula is scheming for a birthday party in October....

The party for my 50th natal day is most certainly on - just need to set the date. My actual b-day is October 6th, though Oct 27th is being entertained for a joint b-day/costume party.

This will be a over-the-top, crazy bash - make no mistake!

Actually, I'm going to be out of town on October 27th so I can't participate on that date.

the 6th is still in flux based on money flow issues but I'll be able to confirm that by the end of the week.
