Neat drink from Dragon*Con

I think it was [livejournal.com profile] mughi that introduced me to a new drink called "The Four Horsemen".
Equal parts of

  • Goldschlager

  • Rumpleminze

  • Jagermeister

  • Bacardi 151 Rum

Surprisingly delectable. Much like a fine woman....

holy hell, I can handle my alcohol and have been known to drink many under the table... but that sounds like death. lol

[identity profile] vernard.livejournal.com 2004-09-09 05:47 am (UTC)(link)
surprisingly, no. it was incredibly tasty and surprisingly smooth. But it would sit you on your ass faster than you can say "Damned Good Buzz". :)

lmao well now I know how to gain control of people if needed... "here, try this lovely concoction, it's mighty tasty!" muahahaha

Sounds like a recipe for an apocalyptic hangover. :)

You ain't kiddin

To be honest, the closest I have come to a hangover was the morning after drinking copious amounts of that lovely beverage. It wasn't a true hangover as my head just hurt. A few hours of sleep fixed that. True hangovers cause loud noises to hurt, bright lights to hurt, breathing to hurt....

but that's just my weak alcohol tolerance talkin'...

Surprisingly delectable. Much like a fine woman....

And potentially lethal. Also much like a fine woman. ;)

Yeow. I think I used that stuff to clean paintbrushes once.

Awww rats. I missed mughi's drink. How could I have let myself become so distracted?

[identity profile] vernard.livejournal.com 2004-09-09 07:46 am (UTC)(link)
I hear that "Tyrone" was making the rounds and that he could be quite distracting at times.....

You need to mention his "Warm and Fuzzy" as well sweetie..

1 part triplesec

1 part southern comfort

1 part blackberry brandy.

*yum*

[identity profile] kellinator.livejournal.com 2004-09-09 08:15 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds tasty. I'm not at all sure I should drink it, though...

Now all you have to do is figure out which one is Death, which is War, which is Famine and which is Pestilence...

Kinda reminds me of Julie ummm Cochrane's (she wasn't at the time) drink "Spiritual Enlightenment"....

1 shot creme de menthe
1 shot creme de cacao
1 shot Gran Mariner
Brandy snifter.

If you don't sit there with it in your hands and warm off some of the alcohol, you'll get Spiritual Enlightenment.... :)

Yes, we're introducing it to everyone we can here on the West Coast.

Are you trying to kill us?

[identity profile] vernard.livejournal.com 2004-09-09 08:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Not just kill but starve, disease and fight as well. It is the four hourseman after all.
