House Warming Party!
Apr. 21st, 2008 11:19 amok. so this is a little late. Sue me :-)
I bought a place in Tucker, GA and moved into it during the summer of last year. Its 10 months later and I realized that if I didn't get off my butt soon, I would have lived there a year without inviting folks over to actually see the place. Especially now that the basement is mostly finished. My father is truly an amazing man with a hammer. in any event, Here is the scoop:
Saturday, April 26th, I'll be receiving guests from around NOON to 6pm. Kids are welcome and there will be a bucket or two of Legos available as well as a few power outlet strips so that gameboys and such can be used.
But wait, there is more!
A Genuine Party@Vernards party will be hosted at 8pm that evening as well. As always, its an adults-only gathering where lovely alcoholic beverages will be served . This is an excuse for me to play bartender when no kids are around so don't feel obligated to attend both events. Just show if you want to :-) This part ends when the last person leaves. For both events, I'll have light hors d'oeuvres and sodas available including stuff that is "low carb" friendly for those into that sort of thing. I'm diabetic so there will be some low/no sugar drinks as well.

Parking: I live in a cul-de-sac. My driveway can only park about 4 people and the first 2 folks willbe blocked in. So, feel free to park on the street *NOT IN THE CUL-DE-SAC*. Several of the folks in the cul-de-sac already have 2nd or 3rd vehicles and they use those areas. But the streets leading up to my place on Mackenzie, Montreal Way and Juneo are all fair game. It'll be more clear once you are over near the house.
Please RSVP by Thursday evening the 24th so I can plan appropriately on food and beverages.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as I can!
