Now there are plenty of legitimate beefs with the US News and World Report ranking system for schools. But these rankings are still used by many people to make life-altering decisions such as which school to attend and which schools to support.

That being said, I'm proud that the Computer Science department at GA Tech jumped up two spots from last year and its solidy top ten even without ties :-) Makes my Masters degree worth more.

now if only I had a PhD from there :-)
