Same old lang syne
Dec. 31st, 2006 08:22 pmIn less the 4 hours we will ring in the new year with the
margarita_fri crowd.
Tons of things have changed over the last year. Relationships and jobs have waxed and waned. The global political scope has had a big reversal in several ways and science continues to both terrify us and threaten to save us in the same stroke. We lost a monster, a noble president and celebrity all of the same stature in about the same week. And the dreaded disease of HIV still ravages a large part of the world.
And still hope springs eternal.
I wish each and every one of you the most sincerest gift I can give you for the new year: Love and hope.
The first will get you through the good times. The second will get you through the bad.
See you folks next year!
