I hate horror movies. Even when they are carefully disguised as an action film.

That being said, I think that the trailer for Doom: The Movie ain't half bad. If the movie just delivers what the trailer advertises then it'll be fine.

I still won't go see it though. Something about paying folks to scare me seems unreasonable.

As an operating system kernel, Windows Vista is not impressive at all. No major changes that are worth the upgrade.

As an operating system environment, its not too shabby. They have managed to rehash old technologies into their mainstream environment fairly seamlessly. However, it should be more appropriately named Service Pack 5 for Windows XP rather than Vista. Again, not worth the price of admission.

But what do I know about operating systems anyway......

Chapter 80

Truthful words are not beautiful.
Beautiful words are not truthful.
Good men do not argue.
Those who argue are not good.
Those who know are not learned.
The learned do not know.
The sage never tries to store things up.
The more he does for others, the more he has.
The more he gives to others, the greater his abundance.
The Tao of heaven is pointed but does no harm.
The Tao of the sage is work without effort.

So I wanted to download a Quicktime plugin for my web browsers on the Windows side so that I can preview something. And I find out that you can't download just Quicktime, you must also get iTunes . Even if all you friggen want to do is watch a movie trailer.

*grumble*

This is why no matter how nice Apple's products are, they are just as evil and bad as Microsoft. Maybe moreseo because they like to pretend tehy are on the side of the angels.....
