Should know better...

Got a phone call from someone yesterday that used to be a very good friend of my ex-wife. She was afraid that I wouldn't want to talk to her since we had never been on the best terms and the last time we had chatted wasn't on the best of term. A lot has happened since then and I figured that everybody deserves a second chance as long as they learn from their mistakes. So I give her a call back and we catch up. It was actually quite enjoyable.

At some point she says that she had heard from my ex- that we were separated. And get this: my ex said the main reasons she left me was that I was cheating on her the whole time with my ex-girlfriend Valerie. I tell you, the more I learn about my ex-wife, the more I'm glad that she is my ex-wife. The good news is that no one seems to actually believe any of the lies she told about me.

First I'm a wife beater, then I'm wife rapist, then I'm an adulterer. Next she'll claim that I forced her to marry me.

The best thing she ever did for me was leave.
