As of Feb. 16th, I formally withdrew from the PhD program at GA Tech.

No one forced me. Yes, I could probably still work on it if I chose to.

I put it down of my own free will. And I feel quite good about it.

I might post more about it later but at the moment, I've gotten tired of having to tell folks every time I run into them so this is one of the fastest ways to inform everyone.

Concerning frienditto

Even though I do'nt particular like the service and I think it could have easily been done in a more attractive and less drama-inducing manner, I think it did more good by letting folks know that in LJ world, Friend = subscriber and not "friendship".

Be careful who you let read your private posts.
