There is always alittle consolation in this thought. I don't know where you got Garcia from, but in the end you and Mel gave him a very nice home for his remaining stay. He was cared for, and loved, and he got a chance to know that love. Sometimes animals pick their moments that way. Garcia might have known that at last he could rest, and be taken care of.
