Long time coming....

I finally made the time to go to margarita_fri. First time I've been in a few weeks. Helll, maybe a few months now that I think about it. Was good to see the regulars as well as a few new faces as well. And I brought along trincula who is new to LJ and introduced her to the gang. I got a "Norm" greeting which did brighten my spirits but always does make me blush as well. After all, as afar as I'm concerned, I'm just a guy called "V". Nothin to see. Move along...

In any event, a good time was had and I even hung around for the after party at 10dimenions and eatherofgodz's place. The new addition is coming along nicely. I can definitely see why they were angry that it was taking so long to get it done. New carpet smell is incredibly intoxicating.

I'm off now to drop in on a birthday luncheon for an old and dear friend of mine, Jeanette, and then I'm gonna get back to the grind on my paper. I'm gonna try to drop by for the cheezy_movie gathering at oraqle's place as well but not sure exacatly what time that will occur.

Busy busy day. But aren't they all that way?
